Technical education needs balance the fundamentals that engineers will need during their career and the skills that they need to start functioning as engineers upon graduation. The dynamic nature of the engineering enterprise makes it impossible and unwise to attempt to teach our students everything they need to know to function during their career. To restate the obvious, their education should include a strong set of fundamentals and the recognition of the need for and the ability to continually learn.

This Plumbing Technology Programme focuses on understanding general concepts of the construction industry. Students study the role of plumbing in construction. Skills are developed in plumbing fundamentals such as basic drainage system structures, water supply and code requirements.

This Piping Technology programme will be involved from the planning stage to the functioning stage of the Plant. The major work of a Piping Design Engineer is to develop the General Assembly Drawing (GAD), routing Pipe’s, Generating Isometric Drawings, selecting Material of Construction & assuring the safety of pipe by performing Pipe Stress Analysis.

This program is to promote and maintain high standards in occupational health safety to improve work and residential quality.To teach safe work practices in offices, industry and construction as well as how to identify and prevent or correct problems associated with occupational safety and health in these locations as well as in the home. The program addresses the role and responsibilities of an occupational health and safety practitioner including: • Risk management • Hazard recognition, control, and prevention • Safety management systems in the workplace

Network engineering programme is to provide a knowledge in powerful technologies used on enterprise networks, including virtual LANs (VLANs), Spanning-Tree Protocol (STP), traffic management with access control lists (ACLs), dynamic routing, wide area network (WAN) technologies, and more. The central focus is on gaining the most practical of networking skills. The student learns to really think like a network engineer as they perform hands-on work on routers, switches, and firewalls in a simulated network environment.
