Smart Umm Al Quwain was established based on Law No (5) of 2013 and commenced its wok on October 6,2013.

The Department aims to transform UAQ government activities by applying latest Information Technology viz. government agencies, facilities and employees, by providing innovative electronic services for all segments of the society using qualified staff , work procedures and advanced technology systems in accordance with best international standards.
