“TMK” was founded 2001 and is the largest manufacturer and exporter of pipe products in Russia

At present TMK has production facilities located in Russia and Romania which unite the four leading enterprises in the Russian pipe industry – Volzhsky Pipe Plant, (city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region), Seversky Tube Works (city of Polevskoi, Sverdlovsk region), Sinarsky Pipe Plant (city of Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region), Taganrog Metallurgical Works (city of Taganrog, Rostov region), and also the Romanian enterprises – TMK-ARTROM Pipe Factory (city of Slatina) and TMK-Resita Metallurgical Combine (city of Resita).

The Company enterprises produce almost the entire product range of existing pipe products, which are used in the oil-and-gas industry, the chemical and petrochemical industries, the energy and machine-building industries, construction and the municipal housing economy, shipbuilding, aviation, space and rocket equipment, and agriculture.

TMK’s output consists of five main kinds of pipe – seamless threaded pipes from the oil-and-gas range (OCTG); seamless line pipes; industrial-use seamless pipes; large-diameter long-distance welded pipes and industrial-use welded pipes. TMK products are certified according to API ASTM and EN/DIN international standards, and every TMK plant has a quality system in place attested in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and API Spec Q1 requirements.

The Company is currently implementing a long-term programme of technical development, drawn up in collaboration with the leading industry institutions and consumers. The programme includes the extensive modernization of operating capacity and the enhancement of each stage of the production process: from steel-smelting to finishing operations, product quality control, branding and packing. In 2005-2010 TMK plans to invest $US1.2bn in the modernization of production. ...عرض أقل
