Poyanil hospital was founded in the year 1988 with a vision of “We Care We Serve “. It is a personal promise from each of our staff to add our brand of humanity to the practice of medical sciences. It is to fulfill our client’s needs with genuine care and concern for their welfare. We strive for excellence, by concern for their welfare. We strive for their welfare. We strive for excellence, by constantly improving everything we do. Our hospital is well developed with all the departments and has 180 beds under the eminent leadership of Dr. Joseph George and with highly qualified and competent medical and nursing personnel. We have a sister hospitals at Punalur with 158 beds and providence Hospital, at Alappuzha with 200 beds.
First batch of BSc Nursing Program was started on 4th October 2010, with an annual intake of 40 students. Our aim is to mold their personality through a system of wholesome learning, for achieving progress and prosperity in life which extend service to the society. The XII & XIII batch of BSc Nursing students are admitted in the academic year 2021-2022 & 2022-23. At present there are 200 BSc Nursing students under training.
The student had an orientation program to initiate into both college and academic disciplines, followed by theory classes, test and exams. Open house meeting, counseling sessions and remedial classes were held as planned.
