Optikos Shami was founded in 1960 by Dr. Mohammed M.I. Shami, a young entrepreneur with a vision of improving the quality of eye-care for Jordanians. Since the very beginning, Optikos Shami established and maintained its reputation as the most customer-caring organization in this profession. The founder's ambitious plans and visionary approach grew the company within very few years to become the largest and most prominent optical retail-chain the Middle East, predominantly known for its excellence in service standards. Today, Optikos Shami operates retail stores in Amman, Zerqa, Irbed, and Aqaba. Through the years, Optikos Shami has vigorously maintained its high quality standards and adopted company-wide business and service delivery processes that are second to none.
