Gulf Trading and Refrigerating Company (GTRC), established in the early 1950s, is one of the largest fast moving consumable goods (FMCG) distributors in Kuwait.

Over the years, GTRC has built itself into a well-established organization, handling products in food, hygiene, personal care, lighting and other categories. GTRC proudly presents various blue chip multi-national companies with hundreds of brands in its portfolio.

Initially formed as a joint venture with Spinneys, Alghanim Industries took over the management of GTRC in April 1997. In 1998, GTRC became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alghanim Industries.
