Emirates General Transport and Services Company (Emirates Transport) is a government company, established under Federal Law No. (17) for the year 1981 under the name of “Emirates General Transport and Service Corporation”, and tasked with organizing, managing and supervising transport and maintenance services, ET’s legal status was later modified to become a public joint stock company under Federal Decree No. (22) of 2019 regarding Emirates General Transport and Services Company, and now falls under the umbrella of the Emirates Investment Authority.
