Byrnecut Mining Pty Ltd was established in 1987 as a specialist underground mining contractor in Australia.

Byrnecut Mining commenced its international operations in 1999, and as a result of the successful expansion, Byrnecut Offshore Pty Ltd was formed in 2004.

The Byrnecut Offshore Group has grown into a group that employs over 2,400 people operating a multi-million dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment world-wide.

They have successfully undertaken contracts in Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Zambia, Tanzania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana and South Africa
