The American College of the Middle East (ACM) affiliated with Purdue University, started operation in October 2008. ACM is a private two-year college, licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education to operate in Kuwait under Amiri Decrees No 142 and No 302. ACM is licensed to offer degrees in the areas of Business Administration, Information Technology, Nursing, Hospitality Management, and Engineering Technology.

The American College of the Middle East (ACM) strives towards excellence in education and the long-term success of its students. ACM faculty are practitioners with hands on experience. ACM provides a learner-centered environment, where classrooms, labs, real-life, and self-learning are integrated and education through extra-curricular activities is emphasized. With this approach, ACM addresses a wider breadth of learning objectives, accommodates different learning styles, and creates an exciting educational environment. The emphasis is on what is learnt and not only what is taught. ACM teaching approach will serve students well in their future professional endeavors.

ACM is located in Egaila area-Kuwait operating from its state of the art newly erected campus, covering 75,110 square meters. The campus was designed with the latest trends in space planning in mind, which lends a great deal of flexibility to ongoing attempts to address both the school’s academic and social needs of the future. In addition ACM campus is self-contained campus with cafeterias, bookstore, clinic, and a variety of outdoor sport facilities including tennis, volleyball, basketball, and soccer courts.

ACM library encompasses full range of reference books, text books, magazines, journals, case studies, e-books and online access to a variety of databases.
