Molex Connected Enterprise Solutions is seeking an ambitious and outcome-focused Business Development Manager / Sales Executive to join our dynamic South Africa team. We prefer candidates who are based in or around the Gauteng region. This individual will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our market position by expanding our solutions portfolio in the Cabling Infrastructure arena.
The work will involve close engagement with end users and following up on leads to generate new business in and around Gauteng while reporting into the Regional Director of Sales, South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
•Financial Targets: Achieve or surpass financial goals for your designated area, ensuring financial returns align with company expectations.
•Relationship Building: Mentor and cultivate relationships with consultants, end users, CI partners, and distributors to secure both project-related and day-to-day business opportunities, fostering a sustainable revenue pipeline with substantial year-over-year growth.
•Reporting: Provide timely and detailed sales reports and pipeline information as required.
•Customer Service Interaction: Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure accurate delivery of pricing and product information that meets end user and partner needs.
•Project Delivery: Work alongside sales and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
•Technical Support Coordination: Interact with technical support operations to manage requirements from end users, consultants, and CI partners, enhancing customer experience and ensuring positive outcomes.
•Business Development: Develop and grow business opportunities through ethical channels.
•CI Partnerships Management: Develop and manage CI partnerships across regions.
•Compliance: Ensure strong adherence to the company’s principles.
