IT Business Analyst Needed for Insurance Company in Calgary, AB

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our client’s team which is a leading insurance provider in Canada, Calgary, Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the business and IT departments, ensuring that our technology solutions align with the company's strategic objectives.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT developers and subject matter experts, to develop and implement effective solutions
• Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, such as user stories, process flows, and system specifications
• Provide training and support to end-users on new software implementations
• Continuously monitor and optimize existing systems to enhance performance and efficiency
