Bayt.com has partnered with MAD Talks to provide inspirational videos for job seekers through a platform of one-on-one interviews. The platform features some of the most successful leaders in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as they share everything, from upbringing and education to current work philosophies and their business challenges.

1. Tony Buzan – Inventor of Mind Maps
Tony Buzan is an English author and an expert in the education of children and adults. He has written over 140 books and is credited with the invention of a unique thinking technique called Mind Mapping. His work has reached over two billion people and he has been nominated twice for the Noble Prize for Peace through education. In this interview, Tony gives job seekers advice on how not to give into despair, and how to use their minds more effectively. He demonstrates which methods people can apply to use their brains to increase motivation and develop the right mindset and achieve their goals.
2. Walid Hajj – CEO of Cravia Inc.
Walid Hajj is the CEO of Cravia Inc.; a Dubai-based food and hospitality organization that brought world-class franchises to the Middle East, including Cinnabon, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, and Seattle’s Best Coffee. Walid is a Harvard Business School alumnus and his work has been developed into a Harvard Business School case study. In this inspirational video for job seekers, Walid provides insight into the history of Cravia and the story behind each brand. He also talks entrepreneurship, gaining respect as a leader, his biggest inspirations, and the secrets behind creating a loyal team.
3. Yogesh Mehta – CEO of Petrochem
Yogesh Mehta acquired his interest in petrochemicals at a very young age. When he was 14 years old, he began helping his father at a chemical company. Soon after, Yogesh along with two partners, founded their very own small petrochemical company. Due to the lack of experience of running a business and many rookie mistakes, the business failed and Yogesh lost all of his money. At the age of 29, Yogesh left India to try out his luck in Dubai. His persistence helped him fulfill his dreams, as Petrochem Middle East was established in 1995 and eventually expanded to become one of the leading petrochemical companies in the region.
4. Navin Valrani – CEO of The Arcadia Preparatory School & Al Shirawi Group
Navin Valrani is the CEO of The Arcadia Preparatory School; a private English National Curriculum School in Dubai. Navin is also the CEO of Al Shirawi Group; a family-owned industrial conglomerate based in Dubai. Navin attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from the London Business School. In 2015, he won the Arabian Business Indian CEO of the year award. Navin is also an engaged philanthropist, creating the Monica and Navin Valrani Scholarship fund to help female Indian students pursue graduate degrees. As the head of Arcadia Preparatory School, Navin speaks about the need for change in both the educational system and the work environment.
