I have been a registered job seeker with Bayt.com for a while now and I really like it. The process of building my CV was simple and fairly fast and I have quickly managed to start browsing vacancies and then set up a search agent to send me notifications whenever a job that suits my qualifications is posted. I have gotten few calls and sat for a couple of interviews. But I would like to be as visible as can be to employers, have them pick my CV and want to hire me immediately! What if I post a Video CV for employers to see?

Posting a Bayt video CV to highlight your personal and technical skills, your accomplishments, your aspirations in a professionally and with confidence would without a doubt leave a positive impact on employers who are viewing your CV. However, make sure you are not posting irrelevant videos on your Bayt.com workspace!
The aim of this feature is to give you the opportunity to stand out from the crowd and prove to prospective employers that you are just the perfect candidate for their company. Don’t waste your chances by posting irrelevant videos (yes, music clips& humorous clips do count as irrelevant). Instead, bring this feature to your advantage by:
- Dressing as if you were going to a physical job interview
- Presenting a small brief about yourself, your educational background and work experience and accomplishments.
- Making sure the length of the video is reasonable (Don’t go beyond 5 minutes)
Are you making use of Bayt’s “Recommendations” feature yet? Go that extra mile and request a recommendation from your current or former managers, colleagues, professors, etc...
