About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Technical Supervisor role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain. 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the engineering functions under his control.
• Supervise the daily activities of all Engineering Department team leaders and subordinates.
• Observe activities to ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures.
• Check on completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met.
• Assist in the implementation, coordination and monitoring of the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System). This will include the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM and Work Order Systems). 
• Handle grievances, suggestions and complaints by colleagues and recommend appropriate action to the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.
• Request support and direction as needed.
• Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes and procedures.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience within a 5-star hotel.
• Fluent in English, and an additional international language is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer maintenance management systems. 
• Good understanding of HVAC and Electrical systems, Interpreting Drawings, and Project planning skills.
