Main Activities/Responsibilities:
1. Support the Student Experience Manager (Registry and Progression) and work closely with the Head of Admissions and Student Lifecycle Services plus Deputy Director to develop, oversee, and monitor the implementation of the Student Experience strategy in Bahrain.
2. Work with colleagues across faculties and Strath Union to support positive student participation and engagement through, for example, planning and delivering activities, events, and programmes.
3. Work with Faculty colleagues to develop and operate student attendance monitoring procedures and maintain accurate records of student data.
4. Work with a solution focussed approach that is based on the targets, priorities and requirements of the full student journey, the Student Experience Directorate, and the University as a whole, as well as on student feedback obtained through a range of means including surveys.
5. Develop and manage all welcome, induction and registration activities for students in liaison with faculties and Strath Union.
6. Support the development of policies, guidance documents and other resources relevant to the University of Strathclyde, Bahrain.
7. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant colleagues across the University to support collaborative working, ready resolution of issues and the effective implementation of end-to-end business processes, specifically Student Records colleagues.
8. Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks that are essential for the effective functioning of the student journey in Bahrain. You will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, participate in meetings, and identify areas for process improvement.
9. Acting as the first point of call for all applicants, students, parents, and external agencies, you will provide exemplary customer service to enhance the overall student experience.
10. Provide help, advice, guidance, and support to students regarding requests such as: module changes, withdrawal, suspension, extension, transferring degrees, and readmission.
11. Undertake other duties as appropriate to the grade and content of the post, as directed by the Student Experience Manager (Registry and Progression) or Deputy Director of Student Experience. This list of duties is therefore not exhaustive.

Qualification Required
Bachelor’s degree in related field or significant relevant experience.
