Strategy & Planning Specialist
Job Description
Job Objective:
Support the Business unit in achieving the business objectives by governing the implementation of key strategic initiatives and providing accurate and timely information to Management for decision making
Primary Responsibilities:
Financial:
• Liaise with the Department Heads and Finance to prepare Capital and Operational Expense budget for Enterprise Business
• Track and report adherence to the approved Capital and Operational Expense budget
Operational:
• Liaise with the Department Heads to prepare strategic initiatives for Enterprise Business aligned to the Organizational strategy
• Coordinate with the Department Heads to prepare Annual Business plan, ensuring integration with the corporate business plan, evaluation of environmental factors and key drivers for the business growth
• Track and report progress against strategic initiatives, Business KPIs
• Maintain and regularly update Balance Score card for the Department, highlighting areas of variance for review and action planning
• Coordinate with the Department Heads to prepare Business performance reports ensuring accurate reflection and translation of the Business achievements
• Liaise with the Department Heads to prepare Risk reports, risk mitigation plan to be shared with Risk Management Steercom
• Undertake execution of any project/ initiative for the department and organization as identified from time-to-time based on business needs
People:
• Take ownership for attending the trainings as per the plan
• Take ownership for completing PMS process, employee engagement surveys in time
• Continuously share the knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
Skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in Business/ Marketing / Corporate and business planning roles in telecom industry
• Hands-on experience on SAP ERP system, MS office applications
• Knowledge and understanding of the telecom sector
