Job Description

The Sourcing & SQA Engineer will bridge sourcing and quality assurance functions, ensuring suppliers meet Company’s performance standards. The role involves managing supplier relationships, conducting quality audits, and implementing improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct supplier quality audits and implement corrective action plans where needed.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards and control plans in coordination with suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to meet delivery, cost, and quality targets.
  • Analyze quality data and report findings to key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality assurance and sourcing.
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality standards.

  • Supplier Evaluation: Ability to assess and evaluate suppliers using tools and audits to ensure they meet performance standards.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong skills in negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve optimal cost and quality.
  • Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and the ability to collaborate with Supplier Quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Expertise in developing strategies to optimize supplier relationships and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze supplier performance data and develop action plans based on findings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective interaction with suppliers, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Contract Management: Experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing supplier contracts and agreements.
  • Lean Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of lean principles and the ability to apply them to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Cost Optimization: Skills in identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery performance.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple supplier relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems in the supply chain and implement effective solutions.
