MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Event Planning – Responsible for all elements of event planning, including identifying event logistics and negotiating contracts. Coordinate event logistics, proactively communicate event information, and set clear expectations for event delivery
• Conduct market research to create offerings that are continuously meeting the demand of the potential market segments of Conferences, trade shows, pavilions, and other events
• Prepare detailed event reports, including sales data worksheets, cost projections and other financial metrics. They analyze and reconcile disparate event details and consolidate the information into actionable event plans
• Work under pressure, can manage multiple activities simultaneously, and re-prioritize efforts when plans change, or the need arises
• Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners and leverage these relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events. (Customer Relationship Management)
• Manage day-to-day operations of the department and ensure effective communication between the team members
• Ensuring sufficient resources for the effective function of a busy sales and events office
• Delivery or collation and dissemination of all information for/from relevant weekly meetings
Contribute to the delivery of an effective sales process from sales generation, sales leads follow up, and converting sales leads, revenue maximization and the development of loyal repeat customers
• Management and organization of the secured business and the planning process delivery by the Events team
• Ensure all revenues are collected for the services delivered
• Prepare proposals for clients and maintain well-organized event records
