Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Auditor to join our team in Bahrain. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and executing audits of our clients' financial statements and internal controls. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business operations, identify risks, and provide recommendations to improve their financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute financial statement audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Plan and coordinate audit engagements, including developing audit programs and timelines
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of improvement in clients' financial processes and controls
- Review and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing exceptional client service
- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards, and apply them to audit engagements
- Contribute to the development and improvement of audit methodologies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in external audit, preferably in a public accounting firm
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
