Job Summary

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for selling insurance products in an established territory, developing and executing a profitable sales strategy for the territory, delivering marketing activities, and developing and maintaining strong sales relationships to support the delivery of sales targets.
This role will be based in Zurich Bahrain office.
Job Accountabilities
As Sales Manager, your role will involve:
- Developing strategic and operational plan for territory; communicate progress to management.
- Developing and implementing production, experience and expense goals for territory; maintain reports and reports on these items to manager.
- Developing budget and expense management within territory; communicate results.
- Demonstrating effective time management; performing multiple duties to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Executing field underwriting and pricing decisions within delegated authority; contact home office Underwriters for assistance if needed.
- Managing territory and demonstrate the ability to work with regional and home office staff to ensure quality customer service.
- Gathering and analyzing market data-competitive intelligence for centralized repository.
- Participating in various association activities including sales meetings, boards, and conventions.
- Coordinating risk management activities and customer training for territory.
- Developing and maintaining sales and business development for assigned territory.
- Assisting other Account Executive in developing larger, more complex accounts.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a relevant role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Investment, Finance, Insurance or equivalent
- Holds qualifications from Regulated Financial Planning / Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) / Associate (ALMI) / Life Management Institute is a must.
- Life Insurance experience in Bahrain is a must.
