We are hiring a Painting Expert to lead and improve painting processes. The ideal candidate will drive quality improvement initiatives, train teams, and oversee the entire painting lifecycle for FRP, GRP and metal components.

• Manage all aspects of the painting process, including primer, sanding, masking, and clear coat applications.
• Lead quality improvement efforts to reduce rework and maintain audit compliance in the painting shop.
• Liaise with paint suppliers and manage documentation for work instructions and control sheets.
• Train and mentor teams, ensuring adherence to established painting processes and safety standards.
• Oversee maintenance of spray booths and manage process modifications for new systems or suppliers.
• Develop and update work instructions related to the painting process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive painting processes.
• Technical expertise in paint chemistry, application techniques, and problem-solving related to painting defects.
• Strong training, communication, and maintenance skills, with proficiency in engineering drawings.
• Certification in automotive painting processes is an asset.
