Our client, a rapidly growing travel agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Agency Manager to help establish and lead their operations in Bahrain.


We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Travel Agency Manager with extensive knowledge of the travel industry, laws, and regulations of Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain partnerships with travel service providers. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing all aspects of the travel agency, ensuring compliance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Establish and manage the day-to-day operations of the travel agency.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to promote the agency's growth and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations governing the travel industry in Bahrain.
  • Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality services
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain clients, including creating marketing campaigns and networking with potential partners and clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Manage the company's budget and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role in the travel and tourism industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including current trends and best practices
  • Proficient in MS Office and travel booking systems
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
