Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Internal Audit to join our team at Grant Thornton Abdulaal Bahrain. As a Manager of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all internal audit activities for our clients in Seef, Bahrain. Looking for non Banking & Financial industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal audit plans and strategies for clients in various industries.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of improvement in internal controls and processes.
- Lead and supervise a team of internal auditors in performing audit procedures and testing controls.
- Review and analyze audit findings, prepare reports and make recommendations for corrective actions.
- Communicate audit results to senior management and provide guidance on best practices for risk management and compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure audit processes are in line with current standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and external auditors to ensure efficient and effective audit processes.
- Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge in internal audit.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management, and compliance.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present audit findings to senior management.
- Experience in leading and managing a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
