DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Overview & Objective:
Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

Financial Control:



1. Preparing weekly and daily financial reports.
2. Support month-end and year-end close process.
3. Maintaining GL accounts and other accounting parameters in the IMAL system.
4. Preparing financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities.
5. Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and
established best practices.
6. Preparing financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
7. Liaising with external auditors and provide information for the quarterly reviews and annual
audit.
8. Manage and process journal entries, invoices etc.
9. Reconcile internal accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
10. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
11. Banking money and cheques received and issuing receipts as requested or needed.
12. Review the companys accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or
imbalances and perform Bank Reconciliation.
13. Processing credit card payments received and transferring money from payable accounts.
14. Payment of invoices and fees as required or otherwise instructed.
15. Preparing and presenting adhoc financial reports.
16. Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level
of control over Finance Department activities.
17. Monitor actual financial performance against budget on a periodic basis.
18. Liaising with other departments and business units on a range of accounting issues.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Academic Qualification: Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance
Minimum Experience: Three+ years of progressively responsible finance experience.
Certification(s): Preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (ACCA) preferred
