Job purpose statement

• Difficult – specialized electromechanical maintenance activities on site

Scope

• Maintenance (electrical and mechanical) activities on site as scoped on service contract.
• Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of automated baggage handling systems in a safe and reliable manner.

Qualification and abilities

• Qualified Electrician / Mechanical obtained from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 year of experience in maintenance of automated systems preferably BHS material handling or related industries.
• Experience in electromechanical methodologies.
• Perform specialized / difficult preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for electrical and mechanical components.
• Specialist in the field of electro-mechanical technology.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to take-over the work to the next shift team.
• Controlling baggage flows and correcting flow disturbances.
• Quickly respond to failures and take corrective actions.
• Electro-mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Read English language.
• Read and write in native language.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical-mechanical corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Solve most complicated errors on electrical and mechanical field in automated handling systems.
• Work closely with operations staff to ensure the smooth handling of baggage.
• Reporting of the carried-out maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
