Job Objective

Assist in the development of applications, programs and solutions within applicable guidelines and processes as to contribute to the effective enablement of businesses by continually developing, operationalizing and maintaining system applications and managing the efficient functioning of the same.

Responsibilities

Strategic

• Assist the Sub-Function Managers in preparing the strategy and the strategic initiatives for the sub-function aligned to the Functional Strategy
• Support in monitoring, tracking and reporting performance against strategic initiatives

Financial 

• Assist the Sub-Function Managers in preparing the budget for the sub-function
• Support in monitoring and tracking adherence to the approved budget

Operational 

• Support strategic initiatives for the team by ensuring robust support to the development of applications, solutions and programs
• Manage and co-ordinate assigned activities to ensure that deliverables associated with development, implementation and support of information system applications are produced efficiently and effectively to align with agreed customer requirements and Information System quality standards
• Ensure that the analysis, specifications, development, testing, deployment, support and operation of information system applications are in accordance to specified customer requirements, business and technical requirements.
• Test, evaluate, and implement information security, and privacy and data protection controls
• Support the definition of sources and destinations of content data and manage technical interfaces
• Assist in the execution of project plans for particular IT projects including rough timetables, project budgets
• Support in the creation and revision IT services and solutions architecture
• Implement procedures and controls at each functional process, such that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service to internal customers
• Ensure continuous improvement of policies, processes, systems / structural programs and procedures covering all individual Functional activities
• Provide relevant information to address employee queries related to functional area
• Assist in providing required information to internal and external auditors
