Job Overview:
Hassan Lari Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Projects Engineer with project management interest and strong Quantity Surveying (QS) skills to lead the construction of a prestigious office tower in Bahrain. While this role is primarily focused on this high-rise project, the selected candidate will also contribute to the successful delivery of other ongoing and future projects within the company's portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Construction Efforts: Oversee the on-site management and execution of the 30-story office tower, ensuring timely delivery of all phases.
Coordinate Subcontractors: Effectively manage and coordinate various subcontractors, including civil, MEP, façade, finishes, and other key trades and disciplines.
Quantity Surveying Expertise: Perform quantity take-offs, prepare and review cost estimates, and ensure cost control and financial reporting for the project.
Finishes Expertise: Ensure high standards of finishes, maintaining strict quality control throughout the process.
Consultant Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with the project’s consultant, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on all project aspects.
Team Leadership: Foster a dynamic, collaborative work environment, leading by example and ensuring clear communication across all teams.
Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, execute tasks efficiently, and track project progress to ensure key milestones are met.
Site Administration: Ensure all site documentation is accurately maintained, and that all administrative processes are followed effectively.
Additional Projects: Assist in the management and execution of other construction projects as required, ensuring adherence to the company’s standards and timelines.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in high-rise construction projects, particularly in Bahrain.
Quantity Surveying (QS) Skills: Strong experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, financial reporting, and budget control.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of MEP coordination, façade systems, and high-end finishes.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and the internal team.
Project Management: Strong ability to plan, execute, and track project progress while maintaining quality and timelines.
Site Administration: In-depth knowledge of site administration processes and construction documentation.
