The Senior Frontend Developer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using modern front-end technologies.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring code quality through code reviews and refactoring.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces and improve user experience.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and apply them to improve the product.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in web development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular).
Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design techniques.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Self driving, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
