This role is focused on managing the scheduling, posting and basic performance tracking of social media content across key platforms. It requires maintaining accuracy and ensuring content readiness to support audience engagement with simple interactive elements like polls and posts, rather than full-day content creation or complex strategy development.
Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 6 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage social media content calendars using Hootsuite.
Schedule and publish social media posts that align with standard brand messaging and promotions templates and guidelines
Conduct pre-post reviews using a minimum requirement checklist to ensure captions, copy, and post details are accurate before publishing, alongside verifying stock availability.
Monitor and respond to social media interactions to foster community engagement.
Track social media performance by reviewing basic metrics like impressions and engagement, and identify what is and isn’t performing.
Propose small engagement activities (e.g. polls to gauge audience preferences).
Stay updated on partner news, industry events, and relevant product launches to support post content and compile suggested approaches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the consumer electronics or tech industry.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with platforms such as Reddit and Twitch.
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
Previous social media experience in the consumer electronics industry within a retail environment.
