About the role
The Regional HRBP - Africa role involves shaping and driving the people strategy for the region, acting as a bridge between headquarters and local realities. You will ensure alignment, consistency, and collaboration in the company's culture, ways of working, and best practices. Working closely with leaders, you will focus on the successful launch and operation of our Algerian Global Hub, aiming to elevate Heetch by ensuring we have motivated, engaged, and productive teams.
Your Mission
Keep it "glocal"!
- Lead and coordinate the local People teams (HR managers, recruiter, office managers) - Act as strategic advisor and coach to senior leaders on all People topics - Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations - Foster collaboration in the company's culture, ways of working, and best practices - Push for People processes optimisation (salaries, contracts, internal organisation) - Develop and implement initiatives to attract, engage, and retain top talent - Train and elevate the local People teams (on People tools, reporting, budgeting, cultural topics) - Ensure global processes are followed to high quality level (Career discussion, OKR reviews, training plans, recruitment & disciplinary processes) - Work closely with Head of Africa & GM on People budget & forecast, reorganisation, aligning with the business operations - Make the link between HQ & Local Operations: create a 2 way channel to ensure Heetch’s global identity is felt on all local levels while the local particularities are always at the top of HQ’s mind
What you’ll bring
- Experience as HR Business Partner (3-5 years) - Experience in international corporate companies - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and leaders - Ability to drive and engage teams remotely - Process oriented, with flexibility to understand and incorporate different business or local constraints - Culture fit with our values: Make it Happen, Play for the Team, Be Kind, Think Different - Speak French & English fluently, a third language (Portuguese or Arabic is a real plus) - Frequent travels to each country within Africa region required
