Apply now for the position of Bid Specialist (Tendering), based in Algiers, Algeria and you will play a key role in shaping a positive workplace culture and supporting our team’s growth and efficiency.
Your role:
- Manage the bid and proposal issuance processes, ensuring deadlines are met and accurate pricing proposals align with company and customer needs.
- Analyze Sales and customers requirements to ensure each proposal meets technical specifications, contractual requirements, and internal standards (LOA, Credit Committee, Fin Risk Directives).
- Consolidate costs, review documents, and calculate prices while participating in discussions on complex deals (MM Deals) to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, procurement, and PM teams to gather relevant information for proposals.
- Partner with sales team, acting as a trusted advisor to provide clients with a unique experience, including interactions and negotiations when necessary.
- Act as a final quality checkpoint by validating correct and pre-approved pricing, margins, and terms and conditions, in line with the company’s favorable contractual terms (SHS).
- Lead proposal strategy sessions and organize bid reviews with stakeholders.
- Identify and assess risks related to timelines or contractual terms and propose strategies to mitigate them.
- Draft, review, and update proposal content (for both public and private sectors) while maintaining templates in line with best practices.
- Conduct a detailed review of contracts before submission to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare the necessary documents for order handover to the OTC department.
- Manage pricing information with complete confidentiality.
- Track bid outcomes and provide analyses to improve future performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of bid processes to achieve departmental and corporate goals.
Your expertise and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3/4) in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in bidding, proposal management, or contract management (private or public sectors).
- Fluent level in English and French language.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, ERP systems, or Microsoft Office (desired but not mandatory).
