MIS Data Analyst - SQL

Essential skills:

• Degree in Computer Science /Engineering or IT Degree/Certification in Database development preferred
• 7 years of database development/management experience
• Ensure that the delivery team is practicing core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization and team accountability
• Experience implementing solutions deployed both on-premise and in the cloud
• Experience working with International Development and Humanitarian Organisations and projects in developing countries
• Experience in managing the design and rollout of software solutions for monitoring and evaluation and budget/financial reporting for development-oriented organisations.
• Experience and understanding of database languages
• Excellent logical and analytical skills
• Professional level English competency particularly written English
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail

Desirable skills:

• Experience using SQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience with GIS Software
• Familiarity with programming in development and humanitarian contexts
• Knowledge of project cycle management
