In our IT-organisation for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), we are concerned with implementing company insurance products,
business processes and data into IT solutions. We are particularly characterized by the close and comprehensive collaboration with our clients.
This allows us to achieve optimal implementation for our users.
You will join a friendly, cross-location, cross-functional team of business requirement engineers and IT developers at the Cologne and Munich locations.
We are looking for you, both for implementation on the mainframe (Cobol) and for the integration of mainframe and decentralized systems (Java) via service architectures.
Your tasks are:
-the analysis of requirements and the implementation of functions in accordance with group guidelines using agile software development methods
-the maintenance and further development of the existing mainframe system and existing and new systems and services
-carrying out developer and support with integration tests
-Advising the department with regard to a targeted and efficient solution as well as coordinating and supporting technical implementation options with IT
-the management of the implementation, i.e. the planning of the implementation process, the coordination of the affected interfaces, the ongoing reporting and the guarantee of the required quality.
That makes us curious
-Studies, vocational training or relevant professional experience in the field of IT (lateral entrants)
-A solid hosting experience, Cobol
-Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2)
