· Applying and following the client contractual QHSE obligations, PSGS’s QHSE policy and procedures.
· Maintaining the integrity of the ISO Management Documentation System and standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, & ISO 45000.
· Ensuring that client contractual QHSE obligations, PSGS’ QHSE policy and procedures are implemented and observed in all locations.
· Maintaining the integrity of the ISO Management Systems documentation and ensure all locations have up to date forms, plans, manuals and related documents.
· Maintaining the integrity of documents for other standards like OHSAS 18001:2007.
· Maintaining a register of legal requirements to fulfill ISO requirements.
· Ensuring the QHSE mobilization package is available timeously during mobilization of new projects.
· Establishing QHSE Objectives and targets in consultation with Quality Assurance Manager and update him on a regular basis on the performance to attain the objectives.
· Collating and report the monthly QHSE statistics to the Quality Assurance Manager and Corporate QHSE Director
· Providing technical input and documentation during new contract bids and tenders
· Establishing a training plan/program in consultation with HR Manager
· Conducting internal audits and ensure that corrective actions are satisfactorily completed.
· Representing PSGS in second and third party audits and ensure all corrective actions are satisfactorily completed.
· Controlling and direct the Non Conformity product process and ensure that report registers for all projects are kept up-to-date.
· Leading and directing the investigations of all incidents/accidents and verify that the Incident/Accident registers for all projects are kept up-to-date.
· Verifying training matrix and records for all projects are kept up-to-date.
· Generating Safety Alerts and other QHSE related information and ensure distribution to various project sites.
· Advising top management on Emergency Response Procedures and ensure that regular emergency drill are done and reported.
· Regularly verifying the integrity of the fire equipment/systems in all locations.
· Ensuring Prime Support and client Journey Management Plans and Safe Driving Policy are observed.
· For responsibilities related to being appointed as Management Representative (MR for ISO 9001:2008) and Food Safety Team Leader (FSTL for ISO 22000:2005) please refer to the appointment letter signed by the General Manager.
· High level computer proficiency
· HACCP/Food Safety training certificate
· Lead Auditor Training certificate in at least two ISO standards
· Degree/Diploma in Food Science or Science related field
· At least 5 years QHSE Management experience at managerial level
· An effective communicator and ability to communicate at all levels
· Ability to make correct and calculated decisions on behalf of top management
