The role:


STARZPLAY is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Digital Sales Director to join our Advertising Department. You will be responsible for spearheading and directing all digital sales activities within the organization. This influential role encompasses developing cutting-edge digital advertising strategies, managing a high-performance sales team, and collaborating with clients to drive impactful digital campaigns. The Digital Sales Director champions digital innovation and ensures that the organization remains at the forefront of the digital advertising landscape.


Job Responsibilities:


  1. Digital Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute innovative digital sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Keep abreast of digital advertising trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
  1. Sales Team Leadership:
  • Lead and inspire a dynamic digital sales team, setting performance targets and providing mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and nurture the team's professional growth.
  1. Client Engagement:
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, understanding their digital advertising needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to devise customized digital solutions that drive desired results.
  1. Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns across various digital channels.
  • Ensure that campaigns are delivered with excellence, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  1. Revenue Generation:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate revenue and achieve sales targets for STARZPLAY and Abu Dhabi Media digital platforms
  • Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams while maximizing existing client accounts.
  • Manage relationships with demand side platforms in the region to maximize revenue
  1. Sales Target Achievement:
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Manage a sales pipeline effectively to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and conversions.
  • Balance inventory between agencies, direct clients and DSP platforms to maximize revenue
  1. Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze and report on the performance of digital campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for enhancements.
  • Regularly report on the effectiveness of digital advertising efforts to senior management.
  1. Market Research and Trends:
  • Stay at the forefront of digital advertising trends, emerging technologies, and innovations.
  • Identify opportunities for digital innovation and improvement in advertising strategies.
  1. Contract Negotiation:
  • Lead negotiations for digital advertising contracts, rates, and terms with media outlets and advertising partners.
  • Ensure favorable terms and conditions that benefit the organization.

Qualifications:          


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in digital advertising sales and revenue generation through agencies and direct clients or related roles with a minimum of 10-15 years of media sales or relevant experience.
  • Established and close contact with media buying agencies and direct clients.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on digital sales.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing digital advertising strategies that drive results.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with a focus on performance metrics.
  • Expertise in digital advertising trends, digital media channels, and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Effective negotiation skills and a track record of maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Visionary thinking and a results-driven approach.
