Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and drive the entire lifecycle of globalization, encompassing localization, for Adobe products, ensuring their successful delivery and adaptation to international markets.
  • Coordinate and track schedules, manage and mitigate risks, and interface with product and other cross-campus/cross-functional teams, and third-party vendors (LSP and Functional).
  • Assume responsibility for the tactical/execution phase of assigned products, which includes internationalization, software/documentation localization, release/media, and marketing content.
  • Strategically set the direction for Product’s localization planning, including initiating kick-off meetings with g11n engineering, product, and vendor teams, actively participating in review & launch activities
  • Conduct thorough project planning, establishing crucial milestones, and driving progress within stringent time and budget constraints
  • Serve as the bridge for product teams, imparting insights on World‐readiness and Product Localization processes/requirements, meticulously identifying gaps, and orchestrating corrective measures, highlighting risks and determining actionable recommendations.
  • Manage multiple complex projects, instituting imperative control mechanisms around quality and cost, and adeptly handling situations with minimal management overhead.
  • Drive collaboration with colleagues and senior management on diverse group initiatives, lend recommendations on projects not directly under control, and tackling intricate problems and issues of varying scopes.
  • Drive the implementation of cross-product and cross-business process enhancements, guiding engineering teams to develop innovative solutions addressing business problems related to localization workflow/automation.
  • Take charge of aligning Adobe-wide g11n vendor strategy with evolving needs, managing an extensive global vendor portfolio, and conducting thorough quarterly business reviews with vendor partners.
  • Proactively assess future challenges and develop strategic methodologies to address them, employing persuasive negotiation tactics to motivate both internal and external teams
  • Venture beyond traditional role boundaries to explore new areas, leveraging analytics data to inform critical international decisions, drive regional agendas, and enhance the international customer experience.
  • Exhibit exemplary negotiation, persuasion, and motivation skills, offering proposals and recommendations to extended teams and senior management.
  • Demonstrate top-notch PgM skills and communication abilities, be the domain expert in globalization domain.
  • Represent Adobe at prestigious industry conferences, and invest in the network to share best practices

Qualifications:


  • 12-15 years of overall work experience, with a minimum of 6-8 years in program management within the software development domain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputed institution, preferably with an MBA from a premier institute, or relevant Program management certifications
  • Proficiency in technical program/project management concepts, including roadmap planning, estimation techniques, risk mitigation, vendor management, and budget management.
  • Proactive, high-energy individual with a self-starter and go-getter attitude, committed to driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in software development processes and methodologies. Demonstrated expertise in cross-functional stakeholder management, both internal and external to Adobe.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership and drive consensus on program objectives and progress.
