Job Description:
Role: Senior Brand Manager- Pedigree
Location: Hyderabad
Job Purpose:
This role is critical for driving category penetration of dog food & driving calorie conversion, through the flagship brand in dog food mainstream main meal partition & the economy partition.
The role also plays a critical role in facilitating the SNOP process for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Global/Regional Interphase
Responsible for being the lead for all the Global & Regional interphase on all the strategy discussions
Evaluation of global innovation projects and responsible for bringing the right innovation for the market sourced, regionally, or locally
Responsible for global/regional reporting at a periodic or quarterly level on business performance, gaps in the market & collaborating to bring solutions
2. Local SNOP Lead
Responsible for running the entire SNOP process for marketing, which involves the monthly strategic meetings & the various feeders to ensure transparency, aids decision making & gives the right platform to various stakeholders for smooth functions of the business
For S1 particularly, will lead the meeting, involving – agenda setting, minutes, follow-ups & review at a periodical level both internally & intra-functionally every month.
3. Innovation – Product & Packaging
Responsible for the innovation pipeline for lead projects (Hyd or non-hyd factory) for the next 3 years
Evaluate local trends and create business growth product-led opportunities to grow the category
Evaluate product competitiveness vs competitors & drive the right level of improvisations based on market context
Find opportunities to improve the P&L along with the R&D and PKD team to improve the profitability of the brand
OTIF for all the launches as per the brand calendar and will work strongly with the activity management team to ensure all launches are on time
Driving Post Launch reviews & Flywheel objectives cross-functionally for the respective brands
4. Communication
Responsible for identifying and creating the communication strategy basis the R+ framework for Indian consumers
Creating & executing details communication plans for both ATL & BTL activities to drive calorie conversion & NPDs in the market
Driving stronger digital communication for Dcom paid media plans & responsible for improving the performance on the same
Developing communication for NPD launches, sampling & consumer offers
T&L on customized communication for driving calorie conversion through building 1:1 relationships with pet parents.
5. Collaboration
Strong cross-functional collaboration is required for all the marketing activities planning & implementation
Customer marketing for launches & demand planning
Finance for driving brand P&L and profitability
Sales team for market feedback & trade insights
E-commerce / Omni Channel collaboration for portfolio & content
6. Purpose
Delivering a strong purpose communication plan for the brands
Actively amplifying purpose content throughout the year to build credibility for the flagship brands
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
MBA with 8 years experience
2-3 years of digital marketing experience is necessary
2-3 years of sales role is highly beneficial
