OverviewResponsible for operating canter trucks, vans, pickup trucks and forklifts as needed in support of operations in Qatar
Responsibilities- Load, transport and offload furniture, materials and equipment.
- Operate forklifts as required
- Receive and maintain accountability of Bottle Water in the Warehouse
- Deliver bottled water to designated areas.
- Restock Installation Water Chillers with bottles of water.
- Monitor ice machine’s production and bag ice bags for issue and storage.
- Off load and store pallets of bottled water from Venodr deliveries.
- Manual labor as required
- Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications- Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High School Diploma required
- Must have and maintain a local driver’s license for all required vehicles and equipment.
- Experience:
- 5 years' experience operating vehicles and forklifts in a industrial or commercial environment
- Skills:
- Must be highly proficient and licensed
- Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly
- Working Environment:
- This position works both indoors and outdoors and should expect to work in conditions of extreme heat and extreme dust (i.e. - dust storms, humidity, etc). Normal work week is 48 hours (6 days a week, 8 hours a day). Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires. Must be able to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Work often requires direct interface with local and foreign nationals and requires a high degree of professional etiquette and respect for local culture.
