- Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a forward-thinking technology strategy that aligns with our company's mission and market needs. Drive innovation and explore new technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide guidance and support for professional development initiatives.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric solutions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, including cloud services, databases, and networks, to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. Implement best practices for disaster recovery, data protection, and system monitoring.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance our technological capabilities and expand our market reach. Cultivate relationships with key technology vendors, startups, and industry organizations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to healthcare technology. Ensure that our products and services comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively to support our strategic initiatives and business objectives. Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to technology development, cybersecurity, and data privacy. Implement robust security measures and protocols to safeguard sensitive information and intellectual property.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with a track record of success in driving innovation and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong background in healthcare technology, with knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering, with proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Flutter, React.js, Node.js).
- Expertise in native mobile app development for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)
- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle) and database management systems (e.g., MongoDB Atlas, MySQL, Oracle).
