Develop and implement the Group's
financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Oversee all aspects of financial
reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Iraqi and
international accounting standards (IFRS preferred).
Manage treasury functions, including
cash flow management, foreign exchange transactions, and risk mitigation
strategies.
Lead the internal audit function and
ensure a robust system of internal controls.
Develop and maintain strong
relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Partner with the CEO and other senior
leaders to develop and implement strategic business plans.
Oversee tax planning and compliance,
ensuring optimal tax efficiency.
Identify and implement cost-saving
initiatives to improve profitability.
Manage financial risks and develop
mitigation strategies.
Foster a culture of strong financial
discipline and performance excellence within the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or
Finance from a recognized university (A valid CPA license is highly desirable).
Proven track record of success as a
CFO or equivalent role in a large FMCG or Retail company.
15+ years of relevant experience, with
at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership position.
Strong understanding of International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Demonstrated expertise in financial
planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership and communication
skills, with the ability to influence and motivate a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills.
Experience working in a complex and
fast-paced environment.
Experience working with a Big 4
accounting firm is a plus.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Experience working in Iraq or a
similar operating environment is highly desirable.
