Sr Technician I, Electrical
Role:
As a highly experienced Electrical Technician performs a range of instrumentation and control work in an industrial plant covering installation, maintenance and repair of and trouble shooting equipment.
Performs standard work routines and none routine on a broad range of electrical equipment under general guidance. Requires authoritative knowledge of specialized methods acquired on the job or through certification, Determines solutions using different elements of their experience.

Job Responsibilities1.
Tests and repairs Instrumentation equipment and sensors with limited supervision.2.
Guides technically less experienced technicians to carry out basic activities and usage oftesting equipment3.
Provides support and trouble shooting capability on high criticality Electrical equipment andsystems in the plant.4.
Complies with all relevant HSE standards; seeks to ensure a healthy, safe work environmentand working practices at all times5.
Calibrates, maintains, repairs Electrical equipment and switchgears.6.
Reads electrical manuals, specifi cations, and procedures and follows clear instructions forsetting up test practices7.
Analyzes performance of equipment and participate in fault analysis and troubleshooting
8.
Uses sophisticated testing equipment and tools to test and troubleshoot complex electricalequipment9.
Performs advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment thatrequire moderate experience.
